Proposal for Red Hood Dvd Sleeve

For my Dvd sleeve I am doing a twist in the original fairytale Little Red Riding Hood. I'm turning it in a thriller.

I came up with the name 'Red Hood' by the original name but made it short and snappy, and in the poster I am going to have red riding hood walking away from the camera, so all you can see is the red hood.

With red riding hood walking away from the camera, I want her to be holding a knife in her hand because in this twist, red riding hood is the murderer.

I am going to the woods to take the pictures, because I want it in a wooded area with loads of trees, and with all the leaves on the floor now I think it will give a good mysterious look.

The story line is there is a small village in the 1860's in the forrest and there are terrible murders that keep going on, that have been going on for months. Innocent people are being hung because it seems like it will be them due to the evidence of the murder weapons are found in their houses, but when the murders keep carrying on, people then start to think their is a very clever person behind it, but no one thinks to look at the most innocent person in the village because her looks are very deceiving.

Magazine Cover - Proposal

For my magazine cover I want to style it after 'Rolling Stone' Magazine I like the layouts of them and think they can always intrigue people to buy their magazines.

I am doing the magazine about a solo act, Daniel Lowery from Manchester.

I want to do a simple look. Then have simple text around about other articles that would be featured in the magazine.

I am going to call the magazine 'fret' I think this name is interesting and it is part of the guitar.

I like the whole idea of having a simple look because I think it will make it look more professional and stylish.

 HORROR

 

I like this font because you can just look at it and you can tell straight away that it is for a horror.

 

 ROMANCE 

I like this font because with the love hearts and the swirly writing you can tell it is romantic.

 

ACTION

This is a good font for an action film because you can just look at it and think there would be action behind it.

SCI-FI

This looks quite sci-fi like but wouldn't really be great for a title, as the spacing between the letters are quite odd.

 HISTORICAL DRAMA

 This reminds me of new york in the 50's because of the writing especially the A's. I think it is a good font for a title.
